How does BluHealth Yakap Module work?
As easy as 1-2-3
We design BluHealth Yakap Module as an integral part of the BluCLN of an accredited Yakap Clinic. We did not change how our EMR works so your workflow is the same as usual. All Yakap details are intelligently incorporated into the EMR design and works like any other form field.
Yakap Requirements Check
- Performs patient membership and Yakap registration check.
- Assist patient in Yakap registration is needed.
- Sign photo consent
- Take photo
- Sign YES (MCA)
- Assist patient with PCU
- Take PCU results and input into Yakap record
- Updates Master list is needed.
- Proceed to FPE or Tranche 2
Medical Assessment & Consultation
- Health assessment, NCD, medical history, physical exam and vitals checks.
- If FPE: closes encounter and process FPE for submission.
- If Tranche 2 Consult: passes data to doctor for consultation.Reviews initial health checks made by nurse.
- Performs physical and medical checkup
Issues diagnosis, prescription and lab requests if needed. - Gives disposition, advice and treatment plan.
- Data is passed back to the nurse for discharging.
- Checks all orders by doctor.
- Prints prescription and lab requests.
- If patient is for referral, prints referral form.

What is Yakap?
YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Para Malayo sa Sakit) is PhilHealth’s national primary care program providing free consultations, medicines, lab tests, and cancer screenings to members and their dependents.
Free Consultations (KONSULTA): Members and dependents can access primary care visits with accredited doctors at YAKAP clinics.
Medicines (GAMOT): Up to ₱20,000 per year in outpatient medicines, covering 75 essential medicines, with 21 guaranteed to be continuously available.
Laboratory Tests (LABORATORYO): 13 outpatient lab tests, including CBC, urinalysis, lipid profile, fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, creatinine, chest X-ray, and ECG, etc.
Cancer Screenings (SCREEN): Six cancer screening tests, including pap smears, mammograms, colonoscopies, liver ultrasounds, low-dose chest CT scans, and alpha-fetoprotein blood tests.
